Does my doctor have to sign, send or fill out any paperwork for me to enroll in EMMC programs?

The only programs that requires paperwork from your physician is the Online Diabetes Management Program. We need to make sure that your doctor is willing participant in the program so we ask that you and he/she sign this contract.

What is the cost of a EMMC membership?

How will I be billed for the EMMC program?

Billing is done through Visa, Discover or MasterCard. You can also use bank issued ATM cards which display the MasterCard or Visa logo. For more information see our Billing Information page.

Once I send an e-mail how soon can I expect a response from my diabetes educator?

All e-mail is answered within 48 hours from the time it is received excluding weekends and holidays. Many questions are answered the same day.

Are the EMMC programs covered by any insurance companies?

Since these programs are covered by a global fee, they are not eligible for reimbursement by your insurance company.

Is there a limit to the number of emails I can send as a member of EMMC?

We do not limit the number of e-mails a member can submit to their nurse, but we do ask that they follow our email guidelines.
